WHAT TO EXPECT
Welcome to the Vibrant Health Center. We are honored that you’ve chosen to work with us on the path towards your health. For those new to holistic health, please see our services page to find out more about our work. Our team is dedicated to providing you with a natural, holistic approach to internal and external health.
Upon your arrival at the Vibrant Health Center, you will be pleasantly surprised by the amazing smell of our healing aromatherapy blends, the relaxing music, and the soft lighting. After touring our facilities, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the services we provide within our soothing space before we begin treatment.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO COME IN?
It is best to make an appointment, however on some occasions we are able to see a walk in patient. By making an appointment, you will know if there is sufficient time for the therapist or doctor to see you and you will not have to wait for prolonged periods of time. The Infrared Sauna must be heated ahead of time and may take an hour to reach its desired temperature.
CAN I FILL OUT MY PAPERWORK WHEN I COME IN?
We are a paperless facility; everything is done online. Please call the office and we will set you up as a new patient in our system. Once we have done this, we will send you an email with links to register as a new patient and it will contain your unique pin number. You can fill it out at your convenience, before your first appointment. This will save time during your visit and is stored on a safe server. If you do not have computer access, you can fill it out at the office, but you will need to arrive 20 minutes early for your appointment.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00pm
Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday 9:00 a.m. -1:00pm
DO YOU ACCEPT MY INSURANCE?
We do accept most insurance policies. We are happy to verify your insurance ahead of time to see if it covers chiropractic care and massage therapy. Surprisingly, many policies now cover both services. By having us verify your insurance for you, we know the correct questions to ask and can find out if specific codes are covered. This will save you from getting the run around by your insurance.
WHAT DO I WEAR IN THE INFRARED SAUNA?
We suggest wearing loose, cotton clothing. Most people will wear a t-shirt or tank top and cotton athletic shorts. You will want to bring a change of clothes to put on afterwards. You are also required to bring two towels with you. You will sit on one and use the other to blot off the toxins and sweat while you are in the sauna. We have noticed that some people do not sweat very much their first time in the sauna. As you continue to use the sauna, you will notice that you release more and more sweat.
Laying the Foundation for Total Health
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care:
Phase 1: Relief Care
If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care two to three times per week for four to 12 weeks.
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care four to eight times per month for six to 24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor one to four times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
